Kyivstar Subsidiary Uklon Expands to Four New Ukrainian Cities

16.09.2026

Extends Coverage to Total of 31 Cities Across Ukraine

Kyiv, Ukraine and New York, September 16, 2026 - Kyivstar Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: KYIV; KYIVW) (the “Company” or “Kyivstar”), Ukraine’s leading digital operator and part of VEON Group (Nasdaq: VEON), today announced that its ride-hailing subsidiary Uklon has launched services in Drohobych, Mukachevo, Oleksandriia and Uman, representing a significant expansion of services across Ukraine. This marks the first time since the full-scale invasion that Uklon is expanding into several new cities simultaneously. With these additions, Uklon is now available in 31 Ukrainian cities as well as the “Bukovel” tourist complex.

The launch advances Kyivstar Group’s digital ecosystem strategy, expanding the reach of Uklon’s ride-hailing platform following its acquisition in April 2025. Uklon is one of the key digital assets supporting the Group’s broader ambition to extend connectivity and everyday digital services to communities across Ukraine.

“Expanding into four cities simultaneously reflects the growing demand we see for Uklon’s services across Ukraine,” commented Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon. “As economic activity continues to shift toward smaller cities across western and central Ukraine, extending reliable transportation to Drohobych, Mukachevo, Oleksandriia and Uman is a natural next step for the Uklon platform. This expansion reinforces our commitment to strengthening everyday digital services for communities throughout the country.”.

Riders in Drohobych, Oleksandriia and Uman can choose from seven ride options: Fast Search, Basic, Standard, Comfort, Wagon, Minibus and Driver. Mukachevo features an eighth option with the addition of the Business class.

To book a ride, users can simply download the Uklon app, enter their pickup and destination points, select a payment method and confirm the order. Driver-partners can sign up independently through the Uklon Driver app.

In all new locations, Uklon maintains its standard quality of service: upfront pricing visible before order confirmation and a unified background check process for all driver-partners.
